A French saying goes" La Vie et dure sans la confiture" in English: Life is hard without some jam/fruit preserve.
We agree. This wine is perfect with classic dishes as Foi Gras on toasted bread, it is amazing next to blue or other aged cheeses, nuts and dried fruit at the end of a meal and is AMAZING with our favorite - Ginger-Vanilla ice cream and a poached pear.
Sometimes you have to treat yourself....
